A tour of the heart of Rome complete with Baroque music concerts. The Church of Sant'Agnese in Agone is a jewel of 17th-century Baroque architecture, and was built by 3 of the greatest architects of the time: Rainaldi, Borromini, and Bernini. Recently renovated, the church now shines in its original glory. It is here that the "Music in Bernini's Rome" event takes place. Take in the exquisite architecture to the sounds of expertly chosen music from the greatest composers of the era, such as Girolamo Frescobaldi, Claudio Monteverdi, and others. Jump into a world of art, with live music played on instruments of the Baroque period, and marvel at the masterpieces of a bygone era. Just opposite the church you can see another of Bernini's famous works, the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers). The guides responsible for running this tour are a group composed of art historians, singers, dancers, and musicians who specialize in the art, architecture, and music of the Roman Renaissance and Baroque period.
